This one was taken at one of the two times I ever fanned that Colt as I was told that was hell on the action. The other time was at night and the cartridges were loaded with Pyrodex© which is a synthetic black powder that gives all the flash and smoke without the formation of harmful byproducts of combustion that destroy barrels.

Here's the two gunfighters, desperados, city slickers in search of the Dutchman's Lost Mine. It's still lost, if it ever existed, but we sure did have fun for 2 years. There may not be any gold in them thar hills, but there sure is a lot of lead.
These 2 are Mark taking a picture of my taking a picture of Mark taking a picture of me. Or is it my taking a picture of Mark taking a picture of my taking a picture of Mark. Well, we simultaneously took pictures of each other's taking pictures of each other - oh phooey. I have nothing more to say about these two photographs, except that the Colt of which I made mention is the same as that used by James Arness in Gunsmoke, a U.S. made Colt SAA .45. I used to be able to outdraw him too. Never thought I could draw and fire that hogleg that fast.
